Today, December 9, at 4:10 pm, the Holy Father went to the Pio X Room, Via dell’Ospedale 1, to visit the exhibition of the 100 Nativity Scenes in the Vatican. After signing in Greccio on December 1 of the Apostolic Letter Admirabile signum, the Pope wanted to give a further sign of your attention to this tradition of faith.
The Pope was welcomed at the entrance by HE Msgr. Rino Fisichella, President of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization, who accompanied him illustrating the present works. During the visit, the Holy Father individually greeted the cribs and artists accompanied by their families. He then recited a prayer and blessed those present.
The Chamber Choir of the Chorus School “Kodály” in Budapest, arrived in the Vatican with a Hungarian delegation, performed some Christmas songs.
Around 4.50 pm the Holy Father returned to Casa Santa Marta.
