Pope Francis wrapped up his April 15, 2020, General Audience the way he often does — greeting those special people he so often defends and keeps in his prayers.

“Finally, I greet young people, the sick, the elderly and newlyweds,” the Holy Father said. “Dearests, I exhort you to look constantly at Jesus who has overcome death and who helps us to accept the sufferings and trials of life, as a precious occasion of redemption and salvation. May the Lord bless you and the Virgin Mary protect you!”

The audience was broadcast from the papal library as is the practice during the coronavirus pandemic.
